“There are scenarios like you’re in an interview with a big employer, or you want to build your credibility/expertise with the people you’ve just met. In these scenarios I talk about my experience with AIESEC Piteşti. My stories saved me several times in important occasions. The city is great, but the friendly AIESECers and prodigal students whom I delivered trainings to, would get my best ratings. My internship over there was so awesome that I felt like a superstar who just did his tour concert after that. Seriously! But the result might not be the same if you’re not Asian.„

“As of today, I still think about my summer in Pitesti, Romania. I went abroad the next year and I don’t think that anything can compete with my experience on teaching high school students, making AIESEC friends, and learning about Romania in just less than 3 months. I am really fortunate that I was chosen by Pitesti out of all the countries I applied for and also really fortunate to have eaten lots of bread and mici. I miss those days and I would come back in a heart beat.”

“I feel lucky to have been able to participate in the AIESEC Pitesti’s project – GROW. It was the best way I could spend two summer months. I enjoyed every hour I spent on talking to Romanians and people from all over Europe who also participated in the project. It was a good way of sharing my experience and making use of my knowledge. I was happy to discover that young Romanians to whom I delivered trainings were so curious and eager to learn. What surprised me most, or maybe what I wasn’t expecting before coming to Romania, was that I developed myself so much. I felt welcome and appreciated. Even the moments that I found difficult back then are now good memories. The best way of expressing my feelings about my stay in Romania is to say that I simply miss it!”

“Hello! My name is Vessy and I am from Bulgaria.
My internship was a truly amazing experience for me. I got the chance to be a part of a national project called “GROW” which was about non formal education for high school students. During my internship I met people from all around the world, I had a very dynamic 6 weeks with a constantly changing and challenging envirnoment. This helped me to develop my soft skills, to become more confident and to learn how to deal with stuff on my own. All the AIESECers from Pitesti were very hospitable and caring, they became my friends in a very short time. Going on internship in Romania, in Pitesti was one of the best choices that I’ve ever made!”
